DESIGN-BUILD SERVICES
EDMUNDSTON MICROGRID PROJECT
TENDER CALL 2022-005
The City of Edmundston is inviting interested tenderers to present an offer for design/build services associated with the integration of a Distributed Energy Resources (DERs) to their current utility system to reduce the carbon footprint of the city. This includes 1 MWDC of solar energy that will be installed on the roof of the Centre Jean-Daigle, the University's sports pavilion (Pavillon Sportif) and the Edmundston Energy administrative building as well as 2 MWh of battery energy storage
system (BESS).

The latest revision and amendments of the Regulation 2014-93 of the Procurement Act (O.C.2014-273), apply to this tender.
A Bid Bond in the amount of 10% of the tender price, payable to the City of Edmundston, must accompany the tender. The successful tenderer will be required to provide a Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Payment Bond each in the amount of 50% of the accepted tender price.
Tenders will have to be signed and the name, address and phone number of the tenderer will also have to be indicated.
Sealed tenders indicating the name and address of the bidder on the envelope marked « DESIGN-BUILD SERVICES, EDMUNDSTON MICROGRID PROJECT, TENDER CALL 2022-005, FEBRUARY 2, 2023», will be received by the Municipality of Edmundston on Thursday, February 2, 2023, at the Development department, 2nd floor at City Hall, 7 Canada Rd, Edmundston, NB until 2:00 p.m. (local time). The lowest or any tender will not necessarily be accepted, and tenders received after the specified closing time and date will not be accepted.
